Building the Republican Party in Dallas County!

Republicans are considerably outnumbered in Dallas County!  Therefore, it is incumbent on us to begin to seek out and register Republican voters and then get them to the polls on election day. When 50,000 Katrina survivors came to Dallas County in 2005 for refuge, we welcomed them with open arms, thinking that they would gradually return to their native New Orleans and continue rebuilding their homes and lives. They fell in love with Dallas and stayed here, bringing almost all staunch Democrat voters permanently.  In 2006 our Republican majority Judicial Court Judges were swept out of office and replaced with Democrats.  We've not yet been able to reverse that trend.

There are many ways to register new voters in Dallas County!  All Deputy Voter Registrar Certificates expired on December 31, 2022.  If you did not renew yours in January already, you must renew it now  through the term ending December 31, 2024.  The first step is to begin with training and certification from Dallas County Elections Department.  We will be holding Deputy Voter Registrar training at DCRP HQ on Saturday, February 11 at 10:00 am.  Requiring only an hour of your time, you will leave with your full certification to register voters.  Come and join us!

Our next election all over Dallas County is the Municipal and School Board being held on May 6.  Early Voting will begin about April 24 and you have to be registered by April 5 to be eligible to vote in this election.  We have only a couple of months to get busy bringing new voters in to vote in our most important local elections!

Did you realize that only one-half of all people who attend synagogues, churches or mosques are registered to vote?  And only one-half of those actually come to participate in the voting process!  What a great place to begin!  As voter registration is a non-partisan outreach, all that is necessary would be for you to approach your minister or rabbi, ask for permission to set up a small table with a voter registration sign outside the vestibule and they will come to you!  We are required to register all, regardless of party affiliation.

Grocery stores are another great source of voter registration traffic.  Just ask to speak to the manager about setting up a small table just outside the door.

It begins with YOU!  Republicans are getting back in the Party to GROW the Party!  Contact our office to see how YOU can make a difference!
