There has never been a more critical time for us to unite. Unite as a country and more importantly, unite as Republicans. The stakes are too high to do anything less. The importance of the November election is so high that we have to unite to “close the deal,” not only with the Presidency but in House and Senate elections as well. Sure, current events (the debate, polling, Biden’s “big boy” press conference, the assassination attempt, the Judge Cannon ruling, the RNC National Convention) have created the strongest tail wind going into the final phase of a Presidential election in living memory. However, we cannot merely be reactive to current events and trust only to chance to get the results we want. We MUST BE PROACTIVE and work to become fully united. United, we can potentially win the federal elections but also protect Texas and even possibly extend the coat tails of the federal elections to the county level.
The Democrats will respond and try to change the momentum with voters—they always do. They will pull every trick they can think of to win. From today, there are 113 days until election day. That is "forever" in politics. Rather than sitting idly by and trusting to luck, we must actively work to become united and continue building momentum to ensure victory.
We are witnessing like never before the desperation of Democrats to hold on to power, no matter how devious or evil. Republicans have known for years that there is a puppet master dictating every move in the White House. Democrats have been hiding Joe Biden since January 20, 2021 with the attitude -- "nothing to see here...move along". But in light of the recent Debate and the failed attempts to rehabilitate Biden since, Biden’s incompetence has become undeniable to even the staunchest Biden supporters. Who could have possibly predicted that Hollywood’s elites would be the catalyst to bring down the current Democrat Administration? Say what you want about George Clooney, but like him or not, he has just confirmed for the entire world that the startling, feeble performance, or nonperformance, by Biden in the debate was not a one off. Mr. Clooney confirmed that Biden was not competent at the fundraiser he hosted for him just two weeks prior to the debate. As Mr. Clooney said, the Democratic Party leaders “need to stop telling us that 51 million people didn’t see what we just saw.” According to Mr. Clooney, it is not just his opinion that Biden must step aside. He claims “this is the opinion of every senator and congress member and governor that” he has spoken with in private. Importantly, the news media is listening to Mr. Clooney. Almost every known news source, including the mainstream media, was reporting some form of Mr. Clooney’s quotes by Wednesday night. Apparently when Hollywood talks, the Democrats listen. Now, even the likes of stalwarts such as Nancy Pelosi and Chuck Schumer are hedging their bets. To say that the Democrat National Party is in disarray is an understatement. It is in complete freefall. Without Biden’s acquiescence, any effort to strip him of the nomination and replace him by or at the Democrat National Convention will divide the Democrat Party into a litany of factions. It will make the fight for Republican Speaker look like kids play.
The volatile atmosphere in politics has escalated with Biden's recent mandate to donors: it's "time to put Trump in a bull's eye", and that is EXACTLY what has happened. Couple this dangerous rhetoric with the Supreme Court’s recent decisions that have scuttled the Democrat's best laid plans for the last 3 years to law-fare Trump out of the running, the vitriol has spun out of control. So much so that on Saturday evening, a Trump hating Biden supporter took it upon himself to put Trump in his crosshairs and remove the only obstacle in Biden's and the Deep State’s way. The political climate in this Republic has spiraled down to rock bottom and has joined the ranks of third world countries that remove their opposition by violent means. Make no mistake – this is the Deep State more desperate than ever to prevent Trump from regaining the Presidency and exposing what many have all come to believe – the massive corruption behind the curtains in Washington D.C. This is the fight of our lifetimes.
This is THE golden opportunity for Republicans. An opportunity like this does not come along often. Trump is going to be declared our nominee at the Republican National Convention in Milwaukee and we cannot afford to continue to fight amongst ourselves. We must recognize this country's true enemy: Liberal Democrats desperate to hold on to their power and control. We must put aside any differences we may have and unite now. We are on the cusp of winning states we have not won for years, and there is a real possibility that we can win the Whitehouse, increase our lead in the Congress, and win the Senate. But we can only succeed if we work together, hand-in-hand. The divisive behavior that we have seen throughout the country and in our own Dallas County Republican Party, some of which has been spearheaded by our own current Party leadership, must stop. Americans formed our Republic to escape a dictatorship. Those on the far right and the far left of the political spectrum who take the “my way or the highway” approach display the very dictatorial attitude that Americans fought so hard to escape. These small minority factions believe that if you do not do exactly as they say and get in line, you should be attacked, slandered, libeled, censored and/or cancelled altogether. There is never going to be 100% consensus in this world, in our country, in our state, or in the Republican Party. We have to grow up and learn how to constructively talk to one another, how to compromise, and to just plain agree to disagree on some things.
So, quit throwing sand in your friends’ eyes, get up out of the sandbox, extend a hand of friendship to a conservative you may not agree with on every issue, and let us work together toward the conservative principals upon which the vast majority of us agree. Let’s show Trump we are worthy of his very many sacrifices for us. Let’s show moderate Democrats and independents that we are the adults in the room. Let’s show the world that we are united and capable of discussing serious issues. We need to welcome people who want to join us and understand that it may take time for them to fully embrace all of our conservative values. This is our opportunity. This is no time for dictators. We must all work together. Our Republic depends on Republican unity. We have no other choice.
